M&M

Xylem, McDonnell and Miller’s owner, asked Branigan to create a 1 million dollar promotional campaign for M&M’s 100th Anniversary.

I was the lead designer on this project, creating every piece of the campaign and seeing it through to completion. Click the link below to see the landing page, about page as well as the promotional video.

Promotional Video

This video was the pinnacle of this project. After months of work on the M&M logos, webpages, digital ads, and social posts, it was finally time to storyboard and animate. Check out part of the video here (the whole video would not fit on the site) or on the website link above. I hope you enjoy as much as I did animating it!

START FROM THE TOP: THE PROCESS

STEP 1

LOGO DESIGN

First, Xylem asked for a logo to promote the 100th Anniversary. After several rounds of edits, this is what we landed on.

INFOGRAPHIC

M&M wanted to show the history of their company through a timeline format. This would become a legacy piece for their company to reference as well as devoted customers to download off their website. As you can see, the images throughout the campaign are ads, brochures, posters, etc from the past 100 years of M&M. We went for a collage style campaign in order to make all the information digestible yet still including the graphics they wanted.

MARKETING MATERIALS

Next, they wanted assets to promote their campaign. These included social posts, ads and an email signature. You can see we are continuing the collage theme throughout each of the assets, creating a layering of history of you will.

THEN CAME THE TWO WEBPAGES

HOME PAGE

This homepage wraps up all the pieces of the campaign into a nice little bow.

To the left is my design for the webpage. Feel free to click the link below and see what’s changed after coding.

ABOUT PAGE

Your normal, run of the mill, about page with a request form for new clients wanting to connect with Xylem.
